Infinity Buttons for Dynamics 365 Documentation
Getting Started
Install the solution sent to your email.
If prompted to set up Connections (for SharePoint Add-on), select or create these.
Environment Variables can be ignored at this stage, as they are configured through the solution later.
Once installed, you can start using Infinity Buttons on any record form.
Users can be assigned the Infinity Buttons User security role to ensure they have all the necessary access to the tables and permissions used by the solution.
Check the Solution Configuration section below for additional settings that can be configured.

Solution Configuration
The first time using Infinity Buttons, you’ll be prompted to complete the license setup and configuration.
Or you can access the Infinity Button configurations from the Solution Configuration Page:
Go to https://make.powerapps.com and select your Environment.
Select Solutions, and toggle the view to All solutions.
Search for or select Infinity Buttons or Infinity Buttons: SharePoint Add-on.
From the Overview tab, select View page under the Configuration page.
Update the configurations and Save each section as needed.
License Details: Enter your company details for the environment to link with your license. This allows us to allocate and manage your license going forward.
Button Configuration: Select which Infinity Buttons are enabled. Untick a button to hide it for everyone. If enabled, you can also select specific Roles or Tables to enable. If left blank, all tables/roles are enabled. The Global Infinity Buttons menu is automatically hidden if no buttons are visible. Roles and Tables can be set on the Global Infinity Buttons menu, and/or for each individual button.
App User Credentials: Enter the Application User Client ID and Client Secret for connecting to Dataverse (required for Record to ZIP and Clone Record). How to set up an Application User.
Record to PDF Theme: Customise the colour scheme used with Record to PDF. Click each colour to open the browser colour picker, or enter a HEX code directly into the field.
Templates
Record to ZIP and Clone Record can use configurable Templates to save users time selecting records/fields.
Templates are stored in a table called Infinity Button Templates, and access can be granted via the Infinity Buttons User role included with the solution, or by adding permissions to the Infinity Button Template table in your existing roles.
Users with Create permission will see the Save Template button at the end of the Record to ZIP or Clone Record process.
Users with Read permission (and there is at least 1 template) will see the Templates screen at the start of the process.
Clicking Next after selecting a template will skip straight to the final screen. Otherwise, select Review Selections to run through the standard process to refine/select each record type and fields.
The Infinity Buttons User role gives full User level access to the Infinity Button Templates. This allows users to create and use their own templates only. Org-wide templates can be configured by sharing the underlying Infinity Button Template with selected teams/users, or by granting elevated permissions via custom security roles.
